Do you own, manage, or work in a small business with big aspirations? If yes, design firm IDEO (www.ideo.com) would like to speak with you for a project around helping you better build, understand, and strengthen your important business relationships: with customers, partners, or others.
We will be conducting interviews in person or over the phone. Compensation will be $250 for about 90 minutes.
We are looking for people whose job responsibilities include interacting with customers, clients, partners, or other external business relationships.
Particularly, we are looking for people who fit one or more of the following profiles:
+ Actively planning to grow the business dramatically in the next 1-5 years
+ Have a difficult time managing customer or client relationships
+ Facing or recently addressed a critical challenge in the life of the business
+ Currently feeling or recently felt the pressure to formalize some aspect of the business operations
+ Currently or recently are looking to change the business in some really important way (e.g. expansion, new offering, new offering, new online channel, new investment, etc)
+ Recently took on a big risk or are currently considering a big risk
+ Recently sought advice or expertise on how to grow the business
+ Struggling trying to advertise using social media or use social media to cultivate new customers
+ Trying to reach new demographics in some way
+ Have taken on venture capital or other major sources of funding
+ Struggling to find time to plan strategically for the future or have found some really interesting ways of balancing short term and long term goals
+ Thinking about trying “Customer Relationship Management” software for the first time
+ Have tried or are trying to use “Customer Relationship Management” software but are having a difficult time with it and would like an alternative
+ Spend more than 75% of your day in email OR almost never use email
